Raja Koduri, the former chief architect of Intel Corp. (INTC.O), is negotiating a contract for his generative artificial intelligence business, which he claims would have a significant footprint in India, with Hiranandani-backed data center operator Yotta.

The goal of Koduri’s yet-to-be-named company, which aims to threaten Nvidia Corp’s (NVDA.O) hold on the digital movie and video gaming markets, is to collaborate with or acquire Yotta, a company with data centers in Mumbai and Noida.

The Indian-American businessman stated in an interview with Reuters that the company is likely to open before the end of the year and will offer AI tools to creators including game designers and those working in the film industry.

He remarked on the sidelines of a conference on Wednesday in Bengaluru, known as India’s Silicon Valley for its tech giants and startups, that “these days if you breathe you’re fighting with Nvidia because they have invaded every field, everything, so you have no choice but to battle against.”
